Beautycounter Top 5 Favorites
I started using beautycounter in late 2015, at the same time we started our paleo journey, in an effort to clean all toxins from both inside and outside of our bodies. This was all done during the time we were trying to conceive our second child. Read more about that here.
Making the switch to beautycounter products was one of the best decisions I have made for myself and my family. This company takes the health and safety of their products extremely seriously. Beautycounter has banned more than 1800+ ingredients from their products, going above and beyond the federal standards, and makes it their mission to lobby for more and safer beauty regulations.

I have used Beautycounter products for 4 years prior to becoming a consultant earlier this year. These products are my 5 (+ one bonus!) absolute favorite products that I use daily. They also happen to be some of the very first products I started using four years ago and still love today. This list is for those of you who maybe aren’t ready to jump into a full regimen or are just looking to add some more fantastic products to your routine.
Lastly, I will mention, I tried to order these based on my favorite of favorites and it was impossible. That being said…. here are my beauty counter top 5 favorites in no particular order:
Overnight Resurfacing Peel
This might be one of beautycounter's most popular and beloved product in general. It’s great for all skin types and works magic literally overnight. I apply it a couple times a week after cleansing and toning and let it dry. By morning my skin has a noticeable glow. One of my favorite things about it, it has helped to fade the acne scars along my jawline!
Countermatch Intense Moisture Serum
This is one of the newer products I have been using and I am obsessed with it. My skin has always been on the dry side and I am prone to hormonal acne, especially along my jawline. A few months ago, I realized I might be over dry-ing my skin trying to clear up the acne and made the switch from the countercontol line to the countermatchh and it has been a game changer. This moisture serum keeps my skin feel hydrated and soft 24 hours a day! I use both morning and night.
Counter+ No. 1 Vitamin C Brightening Oil
This oil has been a favorite from day one. I use this daily, if not twice a day. It’s packed with antioxidants and vitamin c that brighten skin and evens skin tone. I will often add a couple drops of this to the hydrating serum above for extra hydration and I find that on those days I don’t wear makeup, this oil gives the perfect glow!
Charcoal Facial Mask
Another Beautycounter OG! Who doesn’t love pampering themselves with a mask? Especially one as great as this! Charcoal is so incredibly detoxifying and great for your skin on its own. But this mask also includes salicylic and lactic acids. The result? Beautifully exfoliated, detoxed, and brightened skin! But one of my favorite ways to use this mask is as an overnight spot treatment. Truly amazing. I will put on a blemish at night and in the morning it has disappeared!
Lotus Glow Cleansing Balm
Last but DEFINITELY not least. In fact, if I was forced to choose one Beautycounter product, this would be it! It is so multi functional and is incredible at everything it does. You can use this to cleanse your skin and melt away your makeup, hydrate dry patches or eczema, as a hydrating overnight mask, and I even use it as hand lotion and to soften my cuticles. Seriously, THE best! I use this cleansing balm daily to remove my make up, rubbing a small amount all over my face and removing with a cloth. I will then use a small amount around my nose (where I tend to be the most dry) after I cleanse, tone, and apply serum. 1-2x per week I will use this over my serum, all over my face, in place of a moisturizer. So good!

I can’t not mention the product that actually brought me to Beautycounter in the first place….Countersun Mineral Sunscreen. Don’t we all want a safe and natural sunscreen to slather our babies in every summer at the beach?! This is it! Amazing, safe ingredients AND it actually works. Win, win!
