What I love about this recipe is not only how quick and easy it is but if your kids are like mine and aren’t crazy about spice, add in some honey to their servings (and yours if not currently on a Whole30!) and it’s a winner for the entire family! It also makes delicious leftovers which is my number one key to sustaining a healthy lifestyle.
Ingredients You'll Need
- Chicken Breast - Butcherbox is always a favorite for high quality and sustainably sourced meats!
- Whole30 compliant hot sauce - Frank's Red Hot is a great choice!
- Ghee
- Garlic Powder
- Salt
- Honey (omit for Whole30)
How to Make This Recipe
- Add all ingredients to instant pot, seal the valve, and pressure cook for 12 minutes.
- Allow the pot to naturally release for 5 minutes before manually releasing to pressure valve.
- Shred the chicken and serve as desired!
Tips & Tricks
Yes! Simply add all of the ingredients to your crockpot and cook on high for 4-6 hours or low for 6-8 hours. Shred and serve!
Use a handheld mixer to shred your chicken quickly with zero mess! (or hand cramps!)
If you’re not currently on a Whole30, I highly recommend adding honey to taste! It gives this dish a delicious sweet and mildly spicy flavor. The sweetness from the honey cuts down on the spice from the buffalo sauce - perfect for kids as well!
